Palworld features a stunning open world filled with adorable Pals, hostile thugs, mercenaries, and powerful alpha Pals that require taming. To survive and thrive, you’ll need top-tier weapons. One standout option is the Meowmere, a versatile weapon that functions as both a melee and ranged option, introduced to the game in the major Feybreak update. In this guide, we will walk you through everything you need to know about obtaining the Meowmere weapon in Palworld.
How to Get Meowmere in Palworld
To craft the Meowmere weapon in Palworld, you first need to unlock its blueprint by reaching level 30 in the Ancient Technology Tree. Keep in mind that Ancient Technology Points are harder to obtain than regular Technology Points, so ensure you have at least 2 Ancient Technology Points to unlock the blueprint for the Meowmere weapon in the game.
After unlocking the blueprint, you will also need the following materials to craft the Meowmere in Palworld:
- 22x Ingot
- 22 Paldium Fragment
- 22 Coal
- 3 Predator Core
Assuming you have all the items, make sure you also have the Production Assembly Line or Weapons Assembly Line structure as well to craft the Meowmere in Palworld. This is a legendary tier weapon so a lower workbench will not give you the option to craft it.
If you’re just starting out in Palworld, gathering these resources will take some time, and focusing on collecting ingots is a good starting point.
How to get Ingots
To obtain ingots, make sure you have a pickaxe in your inventory. Then, look for ore deposits, which appear as brownish-colored rocks—distinct from the greyish stone deposits. Mine the ore and bring it back to your base to process into ingots.
To continue crafting ingots, you’ll need to set up a Primitive Furnace (unlocked at level 10) or a more advanced furnace if you have access to one. Once the furnace is ready, you can start producing ingots using ore. Keep in mind that it takes 2 ore to create 1 ingot.
Additionally, the Primitive Furnace requires a fire-type Pal at your base to keep it operational. Make sure you assign one to the furnace for continuous production. For this, the Foxspark Pal is very easy to obtain early game so make sure you have at least one at the base.
How to get Paldium Fragment
For Paldium Fragments, look for blue-colored rocks scattered across the game’s open world. These rocks can be mined with a pickaxe, and they yield Paldium Fragments in higher quantities compared to regular stone rocks.
While breaking stone rocks may occasionally provide Paldium Fragments, targeting the blue-colored ones is far more efficient.
How to get Coal
Coal can be harvested from coal deposit rocks, which are dark black in color. These deposits are found in several biomes, but the Twilight Dunes region in the northeastern part of the map has the highest concentration of coal deposits.
However, an ordinary pickaxe won’t be effective for mining coal. You’ll need a Metal Axe, so make sure you have one before venturing far from your base to gather this resource.

How to get Predator Cores
The Predator Core is a mid-to-late-game resource introduced in the Feybreak Major DLC update. These cores are obtained by defeating Predator Pals, powerful creatures at level 30 or higher. To take on these formidable opponents, ensure you’re equipped with the best armor and weapons available.
Predator Pals are easy to identify at night because they emit a glowing light—usually red or another vibrant color—and have a visible health bar similar to alpha or boss Pals. During the day, they can still be found, but their glow is harder to spot from a distance, making nighttime the ideal time to hunt them.
The image above shows predator Pal locations where you can go and slay them to get a chance to obtain the Predator Core. This map tool will help you in finding the exact coordinates for the predator pals so you can farm the Predator Core faster as you need at least 3 to craft the Meowmere in Palworld.
We found a Dogen predator pal very easily in the night thanks to the red aura it was emitting. If you’re having a tough time finding one, we recommend you go to (-242, 276) coordinates in the night and find a level 28 Dogen roaming the hillside road.
How to Use Meowmere in Palworld
The Meowmere legendary unique weapon offers 200 attack damage and 2222 durability. There is no ammo cost to use the weapon and you only need your stamina to continuously swing this melee weapon.
With every swing, the weapon fires rainbow-colored kitty projectiles that bounce at least two times before vanishing. The melee hit deals the highest damage and the projectiles are excellent for crowd control. This weapon is ideal when fighting hostile human NPCs in a group or hunting mercenaries for bounties in the wild.
While there is no ammo cost for this weapon, you still need to keep an eye out for its durability and repair it whenever it drops.
