Rivage How to Print Amaan’s Access Card

Once you’ve made it past the Kitchen Puzzle in Rivage, you’ll gain access to a new area: the Pod Bay. Access Cards are the name of the game, and this area is no different, with your primary objective being to find and reprint Amaan’s damaged Level 2 Access Card.

How to print Amaan’s Level 2 Access Card

Upon entering the Pod Bay, you’ll find it’s not nearly as cluttered as the Kitchen before it. You won’t have to look around much before finding some objects of interest. A vending machine with a Multi-Pass Access Card is one such object, reserved for a later section of the story.

For now, you want to find Amaan’s Level 2 Access Card, a task which requires you to crack two different puzzles.

How to Open Locked Box

Head down the Pod Bay and turn right at the screen that says “Access Card Builder”. Here, you’ll find a wall of lockers belonging to Miranda’s various crew members. Open the leftmost locker and grab the configurable key inside.

Now comes the hard part: where does this key even go? Well, on the Cultivation floor, there’s a large grey chest sitting next to the battery. This chest opens using Amaan’s key, so you’ll want to go back to the Kitchen and use the Dock System to pull down the Cultivation floor.

Now, before you can open the chest, you’ll need to rotate its three bits to match the shape of the keyhole. The bit with two ridges can face upwards, while the other two can face downwards, as shown in the image above. Now, you can finally open the chest and retrieve Amaan’s damaged Level 2 Access Card.

Using the Access Card Builder

Unfortunately, a damaged Access Card isn’t much help to you, so you’ll want to go back to the Pod Bay to the screen that says Access Card Builder. Place the damaged card inside the Card Builder slot in the middle and close the slot to begin the reprinting process.

Inspect Amaan’s Card and enter his identifier, clearly labelled as “2828608”.

How to Find Amaan’s Card Barcode

The next part is much trickier, where the Builder also requires you to manually input the barcode on the back of Amaan’s card. Upon inspection, you will quickly learn it is damaged in the middle, with only the numbers 3, 8, and 6 to go off of. 

The key to solving this puzzle is actually simpler than it seems. First, input the barcodes for each of the numbers that are visible. After you do this, open your K9 menu and navigate to Miranda’s own Level 1 Access Card, which has the barcode pattern for each of the three missing numbers.

Just copy those barcode entries in their designated spaces, and voila! You’ve got a brand-new copy of Amaan’s Level 2 Access Card, opening up new areas on the ship to explore. If you need any guidance or help, check out our full Rivage walkthrough.
