It is now the month of love with plenty of people from around the world excited to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. Niantic will also be celebrating the special day of love with a Valentine’s Day Celebration Event for 2020, taking place in Pokemon GO later on in February. Pokemon GO Valentine’s Day Celebration 2020 Event
This particular activity will be beginning on Friday, February 14th, at 8 AM local time. It will then conclude on Monday, February 17th, at 10 PM local time. Trainers will see that pink characters will be appearing much more often in the wild, raids, eggs, and Field Research encounters.
Audino and Alomomola will be both be making their debuts in the fan-favorite title during the schedule of the 2020 activity. However, they will be scarce, so players will need to be lucky if they are to encounter these two new characters during the event’s schedule.
This activity will also see lure modules last up to six hours, with players receiving twice the Catch Candy bonus than usual. There will also be the possibility for players to either hatch a Shiny Happiny or encounter a Shiny Chansey in the wild during Valentine’s 2020 Celebration Event.
Saturday, February 15th, will also see a Raid featuring Lickitung take place between 2 PM to 5 PM local time. This version of Lickitung will be in four-star raids and will know the move called Body Slam. A shiny version of the character will also be available for Trainers to possibly catch during Valentine’s Day 2020 Celebration Event Raid for Pokemon GO.
