Claiming all the rewards in the Lunar Awakening event is easy enough, but actually using them in Diablo 4 can be weirdly confusing. If you’re having trouble making use of the event cosmetics, this guide will explain how you can solve the issue.
How to Claim the Lunar Awakening Rewards in Diablo 4
To use the cosmetic rewards in the Lunar Awakening, you need to switch to a class that can use the weapon. For example, a Barbarian or a Druid is required to use “The Dragon’s Courage” axe from the reputation board. It’s an incredibly frustrating way to have players claim all their event rewards and hopefully, there are some changes.
If there are none, I would recommend storing all the rewards in your stash unless you can use them right away. I’m playing a Sorceress this season, so I was able to use the new wand skin right away. I’m out of luck if I want to claim the bow and the axe though. Unfortunately, the process is even more annoying for Seasonal characters.
Stash space from the Seasonal Realm is not shared with space from the Eternal Realm. That means you need to go on an Eternal Character if you have separate classes already. If you’re playing something like a Necromancer in Season 3, hopefully, you can jump on a Rogue from the past and claim the Lunar Awakening rewards from all your Lunar Shrine usage.
In the worst-case scenario, you can just make new characters and have them head over to Ying-Yue in the Season 3 realm. There is no level requirement for the weapon skins and they are applied to your account as soon as they are used. Just be careful about claiming the gear on the wrong class inventory.
Before you can get all the rewards in Diablo 4, you’ll need to stack up on Ancestor’s Favor for the event period.
