The Star Shards Aspect can be unlocked by salvaging Legendary weapons and gear that contain the aspect. It is also only available for the Rogue class, so other characters will not be able to receive gear with the aspect attached.

Unlike most aspects, Star Shards cannot be unlocked by completing a specific dungeon. It can only be received by using a Legendary weapon or gear that already has it, or salvaging said piece to then imprint it onto other gear.

Legendary weapons can drop from anywhere in the game, including monsters, dungeons, World Bosses, Tree of Whispers caches, and other activities. Players who want to focus on getting this specific aspect can spend Murmuring Obols on one-handed weapons at the Purveyor of Curiosities. It is not a guarantee for gear with the aspect to drop, but is less random than grinding activities.
