Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Pride of the Valley is the fourth major update to release, and with it came a ton of exciting goodies! While some may dive right into cooking new recipes, others are eager to explore the Lion King realm. How, exactly, do you enter this area? That’s the question we’re answering today. How to Unlock the Lion King Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Like other realms in Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Lion King area is accessible once you unlock Dream Castle. In this castle, you’ll find all kinds of doors blocked by night thorns.
To clear these away, you have to pay a fee. However, rather than paying in coins, you’ll have to use Dreamlight! By completing Dreamlight Duties, you’ll accumulate this currency over time, which you can use to unlock realm doors.
When you enter Dream Castle, head to the second floor and look for the leftmost door in the center area. You’ll see ones with alien, snowflake and lion symbols, each symbolizing their respective realms. The Lion King realm door has the lion symbol, and you’ll have to unlock it using Dreamlight.
How much Dreamlight? 10,000.
Once you have enough Dreamlight, go up to the door and interact with the thorns, prompting a brief conversation with Merlin to confirm your selection. Pay the Dreamlight fee to enter the realm and explore the jungle! Following some quick cutscenes, you’ll get to walk around the area and talk to one of the two new characters living here.
