How to Unlock More Pokemon in Pokemon Cafe ReMix
You start your café-owning experience with only Eevee. If you manage to log in for five consecutive days after you start, Pikachu will arrive at work, too. Besides these two “starters,” other Pokémon you can recruit come naturally the more orders you complete and progress through the game.
The three Kanto starters, Kirlia, Jigglypuff, and Lucario, are just some examples of Pokémon that join this way. The process works like this: (usually) after a café expansion or new addition, the Pokémon will start visiting your place as a customer. If you manage to serve them orders that they really like, the friendship gauge will fill, and eventually, they’ll join your staff.
Each Pokémon has a different number of orders that need to be completed before they decide they want to join, so take note of that.
Pokemon Cafe ReMix Special Events
To recruit event-only Pokémon, you must complete a specific amount of orders within a specific timeframe. Most of the time, the quickest and easiest way to do this is by joining a team, so all the orders you and your teammates complete add up, and you can satisfy the event pokémon much more efficiently.
Event Pokémon usually don’t come back, so you only have one chance to recruit them. At the time of writing, the last event-exclusive Pokémon you could recruit was one of the Paldean starters. Quaxly, Fuecoco, and Sprigatito were all available, but, just like in the mainline games, you could only pick one of them.
Pokemon Cafe ReMix Delivery Service
When event Pokémon do come back, they’re usually available via the Delivery Service. By opening the Delivery Service option on the main screen, you can have a Pelipper deliver an order to a Pokémon that’s available for recruiting. Much like when they’re customers, you’ll need to have orders delivered to the Ookémon plenty of times before they’re “moved by the deliciousness” and decide to join your café.
The Pokémon available for delivery rotate every now and then, so don’t take too long to recruit the one you want on your team!
Pokemon Cafe ReMix Seasonal Passes
Another way to get more Pokémon to join your café crew is by purchasing seasonal passes. These passes can give you thousands of Golden Acorns, one or two special outfits or items, and the ability to recruit a special Pokémon that is also usually wearing a special outfit. Be aware that they are purchased with real world money – but hey, Lucario in Christmas attire might be worth it.
