How to Survive and Explore Deadly Shroud in Enshrouded

There are multiple types of Enshroudments within the world of Enshrouded, but the most terrifying of all has to be the Deadly Shroud. Let’s find out what we’ll need to do to start our journey into this terrifying place, and if we can survive it with ease.

How to Remove Deadly Shroud in Enshrouded

If you want to start exploring further and venturing out into new and exciting places like Deadly Shroud, there is a way to turn it into, well, just regular Shroud. You’ll need to visit your Flame Altar and offer to Strengthen the Flame. You’ll gain a tremendous amount of benefits from doing this, including an increased level of Shroud Passage. Deadly Shroud means that the Shroud you’re attempting to enter is too powerful and will kill you if you try to walk inside of it. For the early portion of the game, one level up should be more than enough to get inside.

To upgrade your Shroud Passage level to Level 2, you’ll need to find the following items:

• 5 Resin
• 5 Red Mushrooms
• 5 Bones
• 5 Shroud Liquid
• 1 Spark
• 5 Animal Fur

Once you have those items, interact with the Flame Altar and offer these items to it. After that, you’ll receive a permanent buff that will allow you to enter previously inaccessible areas, and explore what was once Deadly Shroud. As you continue on your adventure, you’ll need to continue upgrading your Flame Altar to ensure that you’re not running into the same issue again, so be sure to gather every item that you can find within the world that you’re playing in.

Not only will it allow you to enter different types of Shrouded areas, but it will also increase the amount of time that you can normally be in them. As I mentioned in our Shroud Wood guide, you normally only have 5 minutes to explore an Enshrouded area before you need to leave. As you continue to upgrade your Flame Altar, you’ll receive an extra minute to explore, making the journey much more manageable.
