How to Get Shroud Wood in Enshrouded

Shroud Wood is a unique item in Enshhrouded, but finding its location can be rather tricky. Let’s see where we must go to get our hands on some of this wood, and if it’s worth the challenge to find it.

Where to Find Shroud Wood in Enshrouded

If you’re hoping to get your hands on plenty of Shroud Wood, you’ll first need to become Enshrouded. Look for areas that are covered in an eerie blue fog, in which you’ll have five minutes to grab as many materials and get out before you succumb to the Enshrouded status effect. These areas also house plenty of powerful enemies that are looking to bring you down, so make sure that you’ve gotten your hands on some weapons, and likely an axe or two to start chopping down trees.

Once you have found an area that is enshrouded, you’ll need to enter and pick a tree of your choice. While Shroud Wood is fundamentally the same item as regular Wood, certain crafted items will require that you use this particular type of wood, so grab as many as you can and ensure that you’ve got enough time to get out before you die within these woods. Getting your items back is nowhere near as fun as getting them in the first place. Any tree inside an enshrouded area will work, so even if you just walk in and find plenty of trees, you’ll be ready to claim a lot of wood.

If you’re just starting the game, a quest will lead you directly through an Enshrouded area full of foliage, so craft an axe and some armor and get to work before completing your next objective. You’ll be ready to start crafting some incredible new items once you have the Shroud Wood, so maybe consider making it a priority to get your hands on some.
