It’s used to craft various spells, armor pieces, and, most importantly, the Extraordinary Glider, which is the best glider after the Legendary Ghost Glider. Simply put, it’s a resource you’ll continue to need even in the late game.
That’s why it’s worth starting a farm early and building up a decent stockpile before reaching the more difficult areas of the game. With that said, here’s how to get Shroud Adhesive in Enshrouded.
Where to Find Shroud Adhesive in Enshrouded
Shroud Adhesive is dropped by Shroud Flayers, tentacle-like creatures found inside Shroud-covered areas. You can encounter them for the first time in the Nomad Highlands, making this the earliest region where you can start collecting the material.
One place to look is around Nomad’s Drop Trading Post. Explore the lower levels and follow the stone paths into the Shroud to find Shroud Flayers. Elixir Wells and Shroud Lairs in the Nomad Highlands are also reliable places to find them.
Defeat these creatures and loot their drops to collect Shroud Adhesive. They can drop between one and three pieces per kill, so you’ll need to take down several if you’re planning to craft multiple items.
Shroud Flayers also appear in later regions, including Veilwater Basin, Kindlewastes, and Cinder’s Cradle, giving you additional opportunities to collect the material as you progress.
How to Farm Shroud Adhesive at Your Base
Unlike most Shroud resources, Shroud Adhesive can be farmed at your base. Once you’ve collected a few pieces, you can start growing Shroud Flayers to maintain a steady supply.
First, you’ll need to craft Shroud Flayer Seedlings using the following ingredients:

You can craft Shroud Infused Farm Soil at the Farmer using 5 Chitin Powder, 10 Shroud Sand, and 5 Farm Soil. Each craft produces 10 soil.
Once you have everything, follow these steps:
- Use the Seedbed to craft Shroud Flayer Seedlings.
- Plant the seedlings in Shroud Infused Farm Soil at your base.
- Wait for the Shroud Flayers to fully grow.
- Harvest the grown creatures to receive 4 Shroud Adhesive each.
Since each seedling consumes only one Shroud Adhesive but produces four when harvested, you’ll have a steady supply after your initial investment. You’ll only need to gather more Acidic Mycelium to keep the farm running.
