How to Get the Legendary Ghost Glider in Enshrouded
Soar Through the Skies
If you’re planning to enter Cinder’s Cradle, you’ll want a good glider on your back. The Ghost Glider is the best in Enshrouded, letting you travel farther and faster than any other version.
It has a range rating of 250% and a speed rating of 25, making it particularly useful for exploring distant regions and reaching hard-to-access locations. Here’s how to get the Legendary Ghost Glider in Enshrouded.
Where to Find the Ghost Glider in Enshrouded
You can’t craft the Ghost Glider right away. You first need to find it, which unlocks its crafting recipe if you want to make additional copies.
The Ghost Glider is located inside the southeastern Sun Temple near Scatterbone in Kindlewastes. You can reach the temple by traveling south from the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire.
Before heading there, make sure you’re prepared to explore Kindlewastes safely. The area contains high-level enemies, so bring a decent weapon, a Grappling Hook, and a Lockpick to make exploring the temple easier.
Here’s how to get the Ghost Glider:
- Travel to the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire and head south toward Scatterbone.
- Locate the Sun Temple near the settlement and make your way inside.
- Explore the temple and solve its puzzles to unlock the passages leading to the upper floors. You can also use your pickaxe to break through certain walls and find alternative routes.
- Continue climbing until you reach the upper section of the temple. Use your Grappling Hook to reach elevated platforms where necessary.
- Find the Gold Chest at the top of the temple and open it to collect the Legendary Ghost Glider.
Once you collect the Ghost Glider from the chest, you’ll unlock its crafting recipe. There’s also a quest added in the 1.0 update that guides you to the item.
How to Unlock the Ghost Glider Quest
The quest in question is called Among the Bluejays. Given by the Alchemist, it guides you to the Sun Temple where the glider is located.
To unlock it, progress through the Alchemist’s questline and complete Sun Temple Stories, which is a prerequisite for Among the Bluejays.
Once the quest becomes available, follow its marker to Scatterbone in Kindlewastes. The objective will direct you to the Sun Temple and guide you toward the Legendary Glider.
Note: Accept Among the Bluejays before collecting the Ghost Glider. Obtaining the item beforehand can prevent the quest from being completed properly and cause issues with quest progression.
Ghost Glider Crafting Recipe
After finding the Ghost Glider, you’ll unlock its crafting recipe at the Carpenter. This lets you make additional copies without returning to the Sun Temple.
You’ll need the following materials:
| Material | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Shroud Wood | 3 |
| Fabric | 2 |
| Enshrouded Oil | 4 |
| Sulfur | 1 |
| String | 1 |
The Carpenter must be under shelter to craft the Ghost Glider.
Is the Ghost Glider Worth Getting?
Absolutely. The Ghost Glider has a range rating of 250% and a speed rating of 25, compared to the Extraordinary Glider’s 200% range and 20 speed. Both consume 5 stamina per second, so the Ghost Glider lets you travel farther and faster without increasing your stamina consumption.
Tip: If you haven’t unlocked the Double Jump and Updraft skills yet, doing so can make your gliding even more effective.
The Ghost Glider is especially useful when exploring Kindlewastes and later regions, where large gaps and difficult terrain can make traveling on foot time-consuming. If you’re preparing for Enshrouded’s endgame, getting the Ghost Glider should be a priority.
