The Frozen Frontiers update introduced more than just pets and a fuzzy outfit to Enshrouded. It also introduced an entirely new region called the Albaneve Summits. The Albaneve Summits is a frigid expanse filled with nasty enemies and even nastier environmental challenges.
If you’ve been trying to get to the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire but got lost along the way, I’ve assembled everything you need to get you to the very top of the tower in this Enshrouded guide.
How to Get to the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire
The road to the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire can be reached from the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire. Fast-travel there to begin and jump off the northeast side. There, you will find a road leading into a small cave opening filled with Shroud.
Follow that road until you reach a dirt path that branches off the main track. Take the dirt path leading northeast until you eventually come across one of many Vukah Camps. The Vukah Camps are tough to fight through, but they let you know you’re on the right track, and you can always just run through them. You have a long journey ahead, and you will need to preserve your health.
You can craft an Eternal Chain Heal Spell for your Staff if you are tired of burning through potions. The Eternal Spells never run out, so you can use the same one forever!
After passing through the first section of the Vukah Camp, you will emerge at Vukah Sacrifice Hill. This is a large cave system that is swarming with Vukah, so take them out or run through them, whatever you prefer. Just continue moving along the main road through Vukah Sacrifice Hill, right through Vukah Canyon, until you hit the end of the road.
Turn left once you reach the end of the road after Vukah Canyon to find the Passage to the Albaneve Summits.
How to Make it Through the Passage to the Albaneve Summits
Reaching the Passage to the Albaneve Summits is a long journey, but it’s just the beginning. You still need to make it through the Passage itself, which is filled with more Vukah, Sabertooth Tigers, Spiders, and even more Vukah.
Your first step is just to keep heading straight through the cave, through The Pit, and out the other side. Once you pass over the lake of ice and make it outside the cavern, you will find yourself in the Albaneve Summits.
If you brought some Stone with you, this would be a good place to set up a Flame Altar. This is around the halfway point, so you won’t have to start all over again if you die in the second half of your journey. There are also plenty of new resources and things to collect, like tameable Yaks and Frizzy Goats, so you might want to explore before starting the last leg of your adventure.
If you’re ready to start the next half of the journey, turn right after you exit the cave and follow the hill up through a sheltered bridge guarded by Vukah. Turn left on the other side and run past the cave, following the road to the west.
You will eventually become Enshrouded, but take the road on the right when you reach the fork to escape the mist and stay on the road to the Ancient Spire.
The Fletcher Marble Quarry
Keep heading north until you reach the Fletcher Marble Quarry. The road to the Quarry has two Sabertooth Tigers guarding it, who hit extremely hard. You can target them with long-range weapons from the top of a slab of marble if they are giving you too much trouble.
The Sabretooth Tigers are the least of your worries once you reach the top of the mine, however. At the top of the mine is a small cave opening that you have to make your way through to reach the road on the other side.
The cavern is crawling with Spiders and massive Tarantulas that hit almost as hard as the Sabretooth Tigers. You can make a run for it, but there are so many enemies there that you will have a lot on your tail. If you make one wrong turn, they will catch up to you, so you may want to dispose of them as you encounter them.
Drop onto the frozen lake when you emerge from the cavern and skate down until you see a wooden structure. Don’t slide all the way down to the structure, though. You will want to exit the slide on the right about halfway down the hill. From there, find the path and follow it back up and over the ridge to the left.
You will encounter some Scavengers about halfway along the path. Sneak around the outside of the Scavenger Camp if you don’t have enough healing potions or strong weapons to make it through. You’re so close to the Spire at this point it would be a shame to die here.
After you pass through the camp, you will come across a broken bridge. Double jump over the gaps and head into the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire.
How to Reach the Top of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire
The Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire, like all other Ancient Spires in Enshrouded, has its own puzzle to solve before you can reach the top and unlock the fast-travel point. Head inside the tower and interact with the warp point to begin.
Start by jumping left over the spikes. Head forward, jump over the lightning orbs, and duck around the corner to the left to find the first button.
Turn around, head down the hall, and turn left. Jump left over the spikes to the right of the warp point and jump over the second set of lightning orbs to find the next button on the left. Hit the button and turn around to grapple up to the ceiling.
There are two more buttons to hit here, each on opposite walls. Start by jumping over the ice-covered beams to reach the button on the west wall.
Once you’ve pressed that one, start making your way back to the button on the east wall. Turn around and enter the newly opened door once you’ve pressed the last button to find another warp point. Interact with it to reach the next floor.
You will appear in front of a pit of lava in a tall room. The lava pit has air currents reaching the ceiling, so the idea is to pull your glider out and ride those currents up to the warp point. There are four buttons to push, which you can find on each of the platforms as you go up to reach the top.
The buttons unlock the way to a golden chest in a room on the bottom floor. Once you collect the chest, glide back up to the warp point to reach the top of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire.
