How to Solve the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom

It's more efficient to ride the rock into space

If you have headed Northeast, you have probably stumbled across Eldin Canyon Skyview tower. Just like every other Skyview Tower out there, it requires a bit of puzzling to get into. Here is how to solve the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower in Tears of the Kingdom.

Approach the entrance of Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower in TotK, and you will meet Sawson. A Skyview Tower repairman who will inform you that the gates are locked. Big chunks of ruins keep falling from the sky and these have damaged the tower. If we could just get in and activate it, the doors would open.

There are two ways to get into the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

  • Climb it (if you have more than base stamina)
  • Use the ruins to glide to it

Before we dive right into it, if you have not found the Eldin Skytower, it is at coordinates 1879, 1202, 1251. Just East of the Woodland Stable, north of the pond and up the hill.

If you opt for the first option, you will notice there are two sections where you can technically replenish your stamina. Unfortunately, I have prioritized hearts over Stamina, so I was not able to climb all the way to the top. I got to the last segment before I fell to my very slow death. However, someone with just a little bit more stamina, or a stamina boosting food, could easily do it.

The intended method is to ride the falling ruin upward and then glide to it.

If you watch the sky, you will periodically see ruins fall. However, you do not have to wait for a ruin to fall to ride one. Just below the tower is a series of oddly shaped rocks.

The rock beside me is one you can ride. So are all the similarly shaped rocks.

Select your favorite one, climb on top of it, then use your Rewind power.

The rock will lift into the air, and then you only need to glide to the very top opening of the tower. Note, it is a good idea to not just drop on top of it. Glide and dive so you do not take damage. Remember to do the same when you do drop in the hole, as hitting the ground from that height can do a lot of damage.

Aim for the hole or platform!

Once you are inside the tower, activate its console and then open the doors.

And there you have it! Eldin is revealed to you.
