There’s no doubt that the iconic castle we know from Harry Potter is full of secrets and Hogwarts Legacy brings that to life by filling every nook and cranny with something interesting. In this case, that interesting secret happens to be the bridge with a fire puzzle between the Great Hall and the Library Annex.
When you reach this bridge fire puzzle, you may notice that there are four braziers on the railings, and you’re likely here because you noticed there’s much more than you can see. The good news is that this puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy is easy to solve once you know where to look, and we’re here to help.
Hogwarts Legacy – How to Solve the Bridge Fire Puzzle
If you arrive at the bridge from the Library Annex side, you’ll have the first part of the solution that you need. On the ground, you’ll see a golden circle divided into four parts. Each section has a symbol and a number that corresponds to the symbol. Keep these in mind and refer back to them in a minute.
Now you need to go back to the braziers on the bridge. First, you’ll need to light them all on fire with either fire spell that you have equipped. Next, you need to look at the symbol on the pillar below each brazier for the bridge fire puzzle. The number that corresponds to the symbol on the ground should match the brazier in Hogwarts Legacy as well.

You can simply interact with the braziers on the bridge fire puzzle to spin them and have the correct number face you. Once all of them have been lit up and matched in the correct order, the circle on the ground at the start of the bridge will open. Take the ladder down and claim the loot that you’ve earned.
