How to Destroy Buildings in Palworld
To destroy your structures in Palworld, open your build menu and press C on your keyboard or R3 on your controller to enter disassembly mode. Once you enter disassembly mode, hover over the buildings you wish to remove to clear them away, refund all their materials and return them to your inventory.
Below is a quick summary of the process:
- Open the Build Menu by pressing B on your keyboard or D-Pad Up on your controller.
- Press C on your keyboard or R3 on your controller.
- Pick a structure and disassemble it.
However, be careful when disassembling a larger structure with numerous resources, as these can easily over encumber you if your inventory is almost full.
Since you’ll get 100 percent of your resources back, you can rebuild the structure wherever you wish without worrying about expending more than what you have. The only downside is that you’ll have to rebuild the building from scratch, which can take a few seconds, upwards of several minutes, to complete.
Can You Move Structures in Palworld?
No, you can’t move structures without disassembling them. While disassembling allows you to break and rebuild them at no cost, there’s no way just to pick them up and change their orientation. Likewise, you can’t rotate structures without breaking them first.
Fortunately, since you get your materials back, the only extra time you’ll have to expend is the time needed to rebuild your structure. Using your trusty Pals to build alongside you will save time but distract the Pals from other responsibilities.
