Below is the complete recipe for making Fish Salad in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
- Any Fish: Some examples include herring, cod, salmon, rainbow trout and catfish.
- Lettuce: Purchase from the Goofy Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. If you plant your own lettuce, you’ll have to wait three minutes for it to mature.
- Lemon: Forage from wild trees in the Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor.
Once you have all three ingredients, toss them into any nearby cooking station to make your dish.

Nearly every fish will work just fine for this recipe. The only exception is Carp which, when used alongside lemon and lettuce, will create a Carp Salad instead. Similarly, if you use seafood like shrimp or lobster instead, you’ll end up with a Seafood Salad.
Fortunately, that’s the main issue you’ll encounter throughout this process. As long as you have either the Forest of Valor or the Glade of Trust unlocked, you’ll have access to every ingredient, including lemons.
