Festive Fever Genshin Impact

How to Increase Festive Fever in Genshin Impact

The never-ending night fever

The Lantern Rite is back on Liyue, and as always, there are plenty of rewards, games, and lots of other attractions for its citizens (and the Traveler, of course) to enjoy in “The Exquisite Night Chimes” event in Genshin Impact. And as always, Festive Fever is running on full power throughout the whole event.

Festive Fever is a gauge unique to Lantern Rites, which you can fill by doing certain tasks and, after reaching a certain point, allows you to get a free 4-star character from Liyue at your choice. One of the best rewards of the whole event indeed, so here’s how you fill it up quickly.

How to Increase Festive Fever in Genshin Impact

Festive Fever can be increased by taking part in the many side activities around Liyue during the event. More specifically, the Radiant Sparks, Paper Theater, Vigilance at Sea, and Behind the Scenes events, which all found in the Event Details tab when opening the main Event menu.

Completing each of the challenges, such as scoring high amounts of points or simply completing the event, will slowly fill the Festive Fever bar. More stages are unlocked every 2 days, and each of them will also provide more and more Fever.

So if you keep clearing the new event stages, your Festive Fever will continue to grow. You have to complete everything up to the second stage and a few of the events in the third stage to unlock Fortuitous Invitation and get your free 4-star. If you’re keeping up with the event as new chapters are released, this should be a piece of cake. Otherwise, it’s not hard to rush them all in a single day either, so do it at your own leisure.

Other rewards, aside from the free character, include a total of x150 Primogems, a Crown of Insight, exclusive Furnish for your Teapot, and new Fireworks models to celebrate the Lantern Rite with a boom. This year’s edition also hosts a music festival as its closing event, so don’t miss it.
