How to Heal in Sons of the Forest

There are many ways to restore your health in Sons of the Forest. The quickest and easiest way seems to be by eating food. Kill and cook a few deer, fish, or seagulls, and your health will be restored in no time. You can also use Meds. However, these should be saved for emergencies!

Players can also craft an item called the Health Mix using Yarrow and Aloe Vera. This will restore a good amount of health, although these resources might be hard to come by in the early game.

In my experience, the best way to heal has been to travel to a small stream and have Kelvin fish for you. He will pluck fish out of thin air and deliver them to you at record speeds. Simply pick these fish up and cook them to restore a large chunk of your health bar quickly.

Using Health Mixes and Meds to restore health is a good idea during dangerous encounters. However, food will be the best bang for your buck when trying to heal in Sons of the Forest.

Now that you know how to heal in Sons of the Forest, it’s time to go on a relaxing fishing trip with Kelvin.
