How to Get the Pokemon GO World Championships 2023 Timed Research Codes

Who's watching who? Niantic or you?

A lot is happening in Pokemon GO right now, and if trainers tune in and watch the Pokemon GO World Championships, they will be rewarded with exclusive codes allowing them to access special timed research tasks. The conditions that allow the code to be rewarded are more specific than they have been in previous events, so make sure that you follow the steps below so that you can earn your Pokemon GO World Championship 2023 Timed Research Codes.

Date and Time of the Pokemon GO World Championships 2023

The Pokemon GO World Championships will be held over a span of two days. Fans will be able to tune in on Twitch at the following times.

  • Friday, August 11, 2023, starting at 12:00 a.m. UTC and running until the end of the day’s rebroadcast.
  • Saturday, August 12, 2023, starting at 12:00 a.m. UTC and running until the end of the day’s rebroadcast.

How to Obtain the Timed Research Codes

The Timed Research codes have a few requirements that you need to meet before you will obtain them. Make sure that you complete the following steps so that you receive the codes.

  1. Follow the Pokemon GO Twitch channel.
  2. Watch the Pokemon GO World Championships Day 1 and/or Day 2.
  3. Locate the giveaway panel by scrolling down under the livestream.
  4. Click Share Twitch ID, which will have your time begin to be tracked.
  5. Watch the stream for at least 30 minutes. Do note that minimizing the stream will pause the timer.
  6. When 30 minutes has passed, a button will appear which will allow you to claim your code.
  7. Copy the code, and redeem it on the Niantic Redeem Offer Codes page.

Timed Research Code Rewards

Both the Day 1 and Day 2 Pokemon Go World Championships 2023 codes offer trainers different rewards.

Day One

The research is focused on the basics of battling. Pokemon awarded for completing the research are well-suited for the Great League.

Day Two

The research from the Day Two Timed Research code focuses on the previous year’s champion, DancingRob, and his trusty Galarian Stunfisk.

Possible Rewards: Chance of Galarian Stunfisk ★, Elite Charged TM, and more.

The codes will be able to be obtained not only during the live stream but also during the rebroadcasts. Both codes will be valid through August 20, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. UTC. So, make sure that you redeem it before time runs out!
