How to Get Morphines Fast in Escape from Tarkov

They only show up when you don't need them!

Depending on your luck in the early wipe in Escape from Tarkov, some quest items are hard to obtain quickly. For most players, it would be acquiring Morphine to finish the Therapist’s early Painkiller quest. Finding them will be much easier when looking at the right places. Here are the best places to get Morphine early in Escape from Tarkov.

Best Spots to Find Morphine Fast in Escape from Tarkov

Customs – Crackhouse and Stronghold

Customs is one of the go-to places for players in the early wipe. Most early quests are finished in Customs, and players usually go to raids to finish more than one task at a time. Finding Morphines and Salewas while finishing other tasks in Customs is the most efficient way to progress in Escape from Tarkov.

The best Morphine spots on Customs are the Crackhouse (building with the 2nd floor drug lab) and Stronghold (Goons and Reshala spawn). The Crackhouse can spawn medical supplies on the tables and the metal shelves on the side on the second floor. On the same floor, you can go to the second room next to the exit and loot the metal shelves for more medical supplies.

In Stronghold, you’ll get the Morphines from Med Cases and Medical Supply Crates. There are two possible Med Case spawns on the second floor and one on the first floor. There’s one Medical Supply Crate on the second floor next to other crates. These spots are also the best way to get Salewas, so Customs is one of the best maps to play early in the wipe. There are also some Technical Crates around, so you can get Car Batteries for your early quests if you loot the whole area.

Interchange – Mantis

If you want to add more electronic spawns instead of technical spawns to your raid while finding Morphines, you can go to Interchange. Mantis is Interchange’s main “medical” store, with seven possible spawns for Medbags inside. You’ll rarely find five or six in one raid, but it does happen sometimes.

There’s also one Medcase near the corner of the room. Most of the Medbags spawn on top of the beds, on the table (back corner), and on the long table by the side entrance.

If you want to loot some more medical supplies, your best bet is to go near the idea side and go to the TT store. This store has a few medical spawns by the shelf (which can also spawn food) near the entrance and at the back of the store.

Streets of Tarkov – Camp or Dental

Streets of Tarkov might be the best map for looting in Escape from Tarkov, but it is also one of the most dangerous. Since it is one of the biggest maps, it is extremely hard to get out of the map alive. However, if you get the best spawn to the camp, your bag will be full of loot in a few minutes.

There are several medical spawns inside the camp. Both entrances have a blue container next to the gate with a few medical spawns. There’s also a little house inside the camp that has a room with several metal shelves that may spawn injectors, including Morphines. The garage area also has a second floor with some more Duffle Bags, loose provisions, and loose medical spawns.

Crawling under the secret laboratory garage (Urban Medicine quest) also has a Medical Supply Crate and some Medbags and Medcases spawns.

If your spawn is far from the camp, you can also try the dental clinic in Pinewood Hotel. The store is beside Klimov Street and the main road.

Woods – Emercom Camp

The Emercom/Military Camp on Woods has an abundance of both provisions and medical spawns. The area has several Medical and Ration Supply Crates to loot. The area also has loose loot inside the containers, dead bodies, and Duffle Bags.

Most players aim to loot the area and finish their early Introduction quest with Jaeger. It is quite dangerous, but you can finish multiple things simultaneously, which is key to progressing fast in the game.

What Are Morphines Used For in Escape from Tarkov?

Most players only struggle to look for Morphines for the early Painkiller quest from the Therapist. You need four found in a raid, and you don’t have your hideout to craft these for you. Here are the quests you need Morphines for:

  • 4x Moprhines (found in raid) – Painkiller from Therapist
  • 4x Morphines (found in raid) – Spa Tour – Part 7 from Peacekeeper

For Spa Tour – Part 7, you’ll probably have Medstation level 2 to craft these Morphines, and you have access to the flea market to buy the materials. Some quests reward Morphines, but it depends on whether you want to keep them or not until you reach Spa Tour – Part 7.
