Allays in Minecraft Legends are a core part of resource gathering and building. Without them, you’d have to do everything yourself, much like in the original Minecraft. With that in mind, a situation you may encounter early on is running out of active Allays and wondering how to get more. Fortunately, there is a solution to this! If you want to learn more, continue reading to discover how to get more Allays in Minecraft Legends.
How to Get More Allays in Minecraft Legends
Before you can get more Allays, you’ll have to progress a bit into the story. At first, you’ll only have access to a two-unit army and matching resources. Over time, you’ll unlock materials like iron and coal, which you’ll use to create advanced buildings and units. However, it is not until after you get these resources that you can get more Allays. If you are still at the beginning of the game and want to take things one step at a time, check out where to find iron in Minecraft Legends.
Building Improvements
After unlocking resources like iron and coal, you’ll gain more story objectives focused on dealing with the growing Piglin armies and outposts. As you defeat more Piglin bases, you’ll gain access to gold ore, unlocking numerous Improvements at your Well of Fate. Among these new Improvements is the Abundant Allays structure, giving you two gather and build Allays to help you during your adventures.

Personally, I gained enough gold during my first Piglin base run to build it right away. If you want to play it safe or save up for others, though, it doesn’t hurt to run to another outpost quickly to pick up extras. You’ll also get more prismarine, which is always a bonus.
Overworld Chests
Occasionally, as you travel around the Overworld, you’ll spot chests you can open for rewards. While most of these have resources like lapis, redstone and iron, you’ll sometimes find an extra Allay! Be sure to open every chest you encounter for a chance to find them.
