Do you like shooting fast? Do you like it when enemies die faster? Then do I have the PvE submachine gun for you. Funnelweb is a Lightweight Frame legendary submachine gun with superb handling that will boost your speed when you have it equipped. But how do you get your hands on it, and what’s the best roll? Here’s how to get Funnelweb and its God Roll in Destiny 2.
How to Get Funnelweb and its God Roll in Destiny 2
Funnelweb is a Legendary Void submachine gun for your Energy Slot, and it’s the best legendary submachine. It’s obscenely popular as it’s capable of pouring out 900 rounds per minute and it’s handling is relatively stable. But getting it? Not so easy.
Unfortunately, getting Funnelweb all boils down to luck. It’s a world drop, meaning that it can drop from any activity or enemy across the entire game. Public Events, Lost Sectors, even random Hive or Fallen, all have a chance of dropping a Purple Engram with Funnelweb inside.
So, the best way to get it is to play the game as much as possible. And if you’ve been playing Destiny 2 for quite some time, check your Vault. It’s crazy what can be in those 600 slots.
Now, as for whether you can craft it… I’m afraid the answer is no. You’ll just have to hope for a God Roll when it randomly drops. Here’s the best possible roll for it.
God Roll for Funnelweb in Destiny 2
The best perks for Funnelweb take advantage of its high rate of fire and its stance as an excellent PvE weapon. With that in mind, the best roll for it is:
- Basic Barrel → Corkscrew Rifling. Stability +5, Range +5, Handling +5.
- Basic Magazine → Accurized Rounds. Range +10.
- Basic Trait 1 → Subsistence. Refills 17% of the Magazine on Weapon Kills.
- Basic Trait 2 → Frenzy. Being in combat for an extended time increases damage, handling, and reload for this weapon until you are out of combat. After being in combat for 12 seconds: 15% increased Damage, 50 Handling, and 50 Reload Speed.
And because Funnelweb is ideal for bringing down hoards of enemies, as reflected in the roll above, the ideal Mod is Minor Spec, which increases damage by 7.7% when fighting against rank-and-file enemies.
