All the New Bosses and Their Locations in V Rising Invaders of Oakveil

V Rising has some criminally underrated boss designs

V Rising’s Invaders of Oakveil 1.1 update brings a whole new region to the game called the Oakveil Woodlands. The region introduces several new bosses, along with two new bosses in the Dunley Farmlands as well.

All Invaders of Oakveil Bosses and Their Locations in V Rising

Sir Erwin the Gallant Cavalier (Level 46)

  • Storm Spell Point Tier 1
  • Stables
  • Stables Furnishing

When you start a new playthrough in V Rising’s 1.1 patch, the first new boss you’ll encounter begins at level 46 against Sir Erwin the Gallant Cavalier. If you have noticed that the racecourse area in the Dunley Farmlands held practically nothing of significance in previous patches, it now houses Sir Erwin, who is crucial to unlocking the Stables, along with other features involving mounts.

The boss fight is also unique, as you’ll be fighting against Sir Erwin mounted on his horse, where you’ll struggle to chase him down and hit him during the fight.

Gaius the Cursed Champion (Level 55)

  • Unholy Spell Point Tier 1
  • Arena Station
  • Arena Decorations
  • Twinblades

Like the racecourse, the colosseum in the Dunley Farmlands was also empty in the previous patches. They have now added Gaius the Cursed Champion with a unique fight twist. You’ll start the fight in a small collapsing circle in the colosseum.

You cannot go outside the circle, and you must beat Gaius before you run out of space and die. There’s also an arena debuff that lowers your healing, which makes this fight more challenging. It unlocks the Arena Station and a new weapon type, the Twinblades.

Stavros the Carver (Level 75)

  • Chaos Spell Point Tier 2
  • Advanced Sawmill
  • Purple Castle Teleporter
  • Weapon Coating

Stavros the Carver is one of the earliest bosses you’ll encounter in the Oakveil Woodlands. The fight revolves around a new corruption debuff, where you’ll need to reduce your corruption stacks to maintain your strength.

If you are not careful, you might even pull the other Venom Blades enemies during the fight, making it almost impossible to kite all the incoming attacks with the limited space.

The boss unlocks a new weapon coating mechanic, giving players an even more potent weapon when applied.

Jakira the Shadow Huntress (Level 75)

  • Illusion Spell Point Tier 2
  • Passive Skill Slot
  • Elixir of the Twisted
  • Slashers

Jakira the Shadow Huntress is an invisible roaming boss in the Oakveil Woodlands. You’ll suddenly hear a voice line signalling an incoming ambush for trespassing in the Venom Blades’ territory.

The fight starts with an incapacitating attack from the Slasher weapon type. In the previous patches, the Slasher weapon unlocks from a much earlier V Blood boss, but it has now moved to Jakira, the Shadow Huntress, at level 75.

Lucile the Venom Alchemist (Level 76)

  • Blood Spell Point Tier 2
  • Blood Hemogenizer
  • Stand with Boiling Flask & Burner

Lucile, the Venom Alchemist, is one of the most dangerous bosses in the game. You can find her in the Venom Mixing Outpost area in the Oakveil Woodlands.

She has unique mechanics involving random elixirs that will drop during the fight. Lucile uses several potions to apply annoying buffs and attacks, and you’ll have to deal with them by using specific elixirs depending on the situation.

You’ll get a new structure, the Blood Hemogenizer, and other useful crafts or consumables.

Dantos the Forgebinder (Level 82)

  • Frost Spell Point Tier 2
  • Fusion Forge
  • Ember Glass

Dantos the Forebinder unlocks one of the coolest features in V Rising’s Invaders of Oakveil patch. The fight unlocks the Fusion Forge, which allows players to fuse two amazing weapons and get an even better one. However, you’ll have to go through a horde of Venom Blades enemies since you are going to the heart of their base, the Venom Blades Bastion.

Since the boss jumps up to level 82, this is near the endgame already, making the fight extremely hard if you were previously relying on gaining a gear power advantage for every boss fight.

Dantos, the Forgebinder, has several dangerous attacks where one wrong move can send you back to your coffin.

Megara the Serpent Queen (Level 88)

  • Pedestal of the Serpent
  • Soul Shard of the Serpent
  • Dracula’s Leggings (Dread, Grim, Shadow, and Maleficer)

Megara, the Serpent Queen, is the new main villain in V Rising’s Invaders of Oakveil patch. While she is a lower level than Dracula, she is still one of the hardest bosses to defeat in the game. You can find her in the same Venom Blades Bastion area, but from the opposite end of Dantos the Forebinder’s forge.

She has several phases in the fight, and you’ll have to play a near-perfect battle to have a chance to beat her. She drops a Soul Shard of the Serpent, which will help you finish the remaining bosses.

One of Dracula’s set pieces now unlocks from her instead of Dracula, so you can create a complete set before preparing for the Dracula fight.
