V Rising’s Invaders of the Oakveil patch includes several changes and additions to the game. It introduces a new region, the Oakveil Woodlands, featuring new bosses, resources, and more.
There are also some exciting new weapons, as we see the introduction of three new weapon types in V Rising. Here’s the full list of all the new weapons introduced in V Rising’s Invaders of Oakveil patch 1.1.
List of All the New Weapons in V Rising’s 1.1 Invaders of Oakveil Patch


There are three new main weapons in V Rising’s 1.1 Invaders of Oakveil: the Twinblades, the Daggers, and the Claws. Each of these new weapon types will have to be unlocked through acquiring specific V Bloods, and each of them will have a new, powerful version (Ancestral) at the end.
How to Unlock the Twinblades Weapon
Defeating Gaius the Cursed Champion (Level 55) unlocks the Twinblades. You can also get the new powerful Twinblades weapon, the Fate Dancers.
The Fate Dancers
- Javelin: The initial hit inflicts Chill, and the returning twinblade Freezes enemies affected by Chill for 2 seconds.
- Sweeping Strike: Deals 50% bonus damage to Chilled or Frozen enemies.
The Talons of the Lich Beast
- Consuming Puncture heals you for 25% of your spellpower.
- Lunge & Skewering Leap: Has a 25% chance on hit to summon a skeleton affected by Agony (Skeleton explodes, dealing 80% spell damage after 3s).
How to Unlock the Claw Weapon
Defeating Frostmaw the Mountain Terror (Level 53) unlocks the Claw weapon. You can also get the powerful leech claw weapon, the Talons of the Lich Beast.
The Talons of the Lich Beast
- Consuming Puncture heals you for 25% of your spellpower.
- Lunge & Skewering Leap: Has a 25% chance on hit to summon a skeleton affected by Agony (Skeleton explodes, dealing 80% spell damage after 3s).
How to Unlock the Dagger Weapon
Defeating Bane the Shadowblade (Level 50) unlocks the Dagger weapon. You can also get the quick and deadly dagger weapon, the Wraithblades.
The Wraithblades
- Rain of Daggers: Inflicts Weaken and deals 3% bonus damage for each stack of Phantasm.
- Release Daggers: 33% chance to gain one stack of Phantasm for each returning dagger.
While these are all the new weapons in V Rising’s 1.1 Oakveil update, there are still several exciting features like the Fusion Forge and weapon coating.
Weapon Coating and Other Features in V Rising’s Invaders of Oakveil Patch


Apart from new weapons, there’s also weapon coating, which unlocks after defeating Stavros the Carver. Here are all the weapon coatings available and their effects:
- Blood Coating: Your next primary attack inflicts Leech and Vampiric Curse, dealing 40% magic damage after 2s and spawning a Blood Orb.
- Chaos Coating: Your next primary attack triggers a Chaos Explosion, dealing 50% magic damage in an area and inflicting Ignite.
- Unholy Coating: Your next primary attack deals 40% bonus magic damage, inflicts Condemn, and conjures a bone spirit that circles around the target, dealing 50% damage and inflicting Condemn to any enemy it hits.
- Illusion Coating: Your next primary attack triggers an Energy Burst dealing 30% magic damage in an area, inflicting Weaken and granting four stacks of Phantasm.
- Frost Coating: Your next primary attack triggers a Frost Nova, dealing 30% magic damage in an area and inflicting Chill.
- Storm Coating: Your next primary attack deals 40% bonus magic damage and triggers Chain Lightning.
You can also unlock the Fusion Forge by defeating Dantos the Forgebinder. It allows players to fuse powerful weapons, attaining specific stats or effects from two weapons. The Fusion Forge requires the following materials:
- 1x Primal Blood Essence
- 12x Ember Glass
- 16x Dark Silver Ingot
The patch also features one endgame boss, Serpent Queen Megara, which drops the following Soul Shard:
Soul Shard of the Serpent
- +34 Spell Power
- 15% chance on primary hit to gain Phantom Aegis. Can only trigger once every 10 seconds.
- Unlocks the Ultimate Ability – Serpent’s Kiss
- Soul Shards lose durability over time and can only be repaired by feeding on Primal Blood Souls during Rift Incursions
If you have played V Rising before, there are several progression changes with V Blood and their unlocks. It is highly preferred that you start your own playthrough or maybe even skip to around level 50, since that is where some of the new bosses come in, like Sir Erwin the Gallant Cavalier and Gaius the Cursed Champion.
