Getting a new ship in Starfield is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. Fighting your way through hordes of enemies in your conquest can be exciting, but then you’re left with a bunch of extra… cargo if you will. Knowing how to clear out your ship once you have taken control of it is rather important, especially if you’re not a big fan of decomposition in the furthest reaches of space. While you may not be able to get your hands on a Swiffer Wet Jet in space, there is a simple way you can clear out the bodies that are filling the halls of your new favorite craft.

How To Clear Dead Bodies Out of Your Ship In Starfield

To clear these dead bodies out of your ship, you’re going to want to make haste toward your nearest Spaceport. Here, you can speak with any of the technicians who are waiting to make repairs and upgrades to your ship. Make any small upgrade to your ship, and then make your way back onboard again, and you’ll find that all of the dead bodies that have been rotting away inside are now gone.

No matter the size of your upgrade, you’ll find that making any modification to your ship will clear out all of these bodies, so make sure that you’re waiting for that big upgrade until you’ve gotten your hands on the ship of your dreams.
