How to Get Calling Cards in MW2

Give them something to remember you by with these calling cards

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has arrived with unprecedented numbers that topped 800 million dollars worth of copies and filled lobbies with both first-time players and veterans of the military-style shooter. But as you’re slaying (and getting slayed) in the lobby, you may notice that when you die, your killer’s calling name pops up in the background of a Calling Card.

Each weapon can have up to four calling cards, each associated with one of the prestigious Mastery camos.

These four Mastery camos are gold, platinum, polyatomic, and orion. Once you’ve unlocked one of these camos for your weapon, you’ll receive a Mastery Challenge, which will require you to get a certain number of kills with that weapon with the specific camo equipped.

So, for example, once you’ve unlocked the gold camo for the SP-R 208, you can complete its Gold Mastery Challenge by getting 100 kills with the gold camo equipped to it. Once you have completed this Mastery Challenge, you’ll get a Calling Card associated with that weapon and that camo.

Currently, there are very few Calling Cards available, and those that are currently available are part of bundles in the shop. By purchasing the Call of Duty Endowment Protector Pack, you will receive two exclusive calling cards. But new Calling Cards will be added to the shop in time.
