Where You Can Obtain the Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

The Focus Potion can be obtained by buying the Focus Potion Recipe at J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. The brewing instructions will cost you 1,200 Galleons, but will allow you to craft the useful potion indefinitely.

How to Craft the Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

The recipe for the Focus Potion requires Lacewing Flies, a Fluxweed Stem, and a Dugbog Tongue in order to yield one vial. Lacewing Flies can be found in the open world of Hogwarts Legacy or purchased at the aforementioned J. Pippin’s Potions, while Fluxweed Stems can be grown or purchased from The Magic Neep (also in Hogsmeade), and Dugbog Tongues must be obtained by slaying the swamp monsters of the same name.

Effects of the Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

According to the description, the Focus Potion “reduces the drinker’s spell cooldowns.” This means that Focus grants Witches or Wizards the ability to cast spells more quickly in the midst of combat.

How to Use the Focus Potion in Hogwarts Legacy

Once you have brewed a vial of the Focus Potion, you can equip it using the Tool Wheel. The potion can then be ingested by the protagonist Witch or Wizard while in battle at the press of a button or key (depending on the player’s chosen Hogwarts Legacy platform).
