Aluminum Electronics can be built at the Assembler provided you’ve unlocked the resources needed to build it. For every Aluminum Electronic you build, you’ll need two Aluminum Rods and one Copper Wire. The Aluminum Rods can be acquired through deposits found in The Meadows region, mostly near where you first find your mech at the start of the game. As for the Copper Wire, you’ll need Copper Ore which spawns naturally in the Edge Cliffs region. Once you have a bunch of Copper Ore, head to an Assembler to build some Copper Wire. You’ll get one Copper Wire for every two Copper Ore.

With those materials in hand, simply head back to the Assembler and start building the Aluminum Electronics. You can build as many as you want, provided you have the materials necessary.

What Are Aluminum Electronics Used For?

Aluminum Electronics are used in a variety of recipes, namely for some of the mid-game upgrades like the first Inventory Capacity upgrade and the second Spike Saw power upgrade. These are both essential to progression so it’s recommended you acquire them ASAP. Thankfully, Aluminum Electronics are easy to acquire in bulk and are ready to go.

It’s worth noting that once you get late enough in the game, you’ll need similar resources to build Iron Electronics. Only with that, you’ll need to acquire an Iron Bar and another Copper Wire for each Iron Electronic you want to build. You won’t need to worry about that for now though.
