There are even mutant babies in there! The unsettling world of the Sons of the Forest will shock you for sure, but in order to feel a little bit more in control, a little bit safer, what do you need? A shovel, of course! Let’s find out how to get a shovel in Sons of the Forest.

How to Get a Shovel in Sons of the Forest?

To get the shovel in Sons of the Forest you will need to acquire some items first – Rope Gun and a Rebreather, to make scaling the cave where the shovel is located easier.

Where to find the Rope Gun in Sons of the Forest?

You can get the Rope Gun in the cave that is located to the mid-west of the map, see the screenshot below for the exact location.

Where to find the Rebreather in Sons of the Forest?

Get the Rebreather in the northern cave, see the image below for the location.

Next, go to the third cave (location in the picture below) and explore it fully, with the help of the items you just collected, to find the shovel. Just keep in mind the cave is full of dangerous mutants that you must dispatch to progress through it.

And there you go, now you have a shovel, so shovel away as this is the brand-new feature that was not available in the original game. Have fun!
