  • Progressing through the main story and side quests

While this may sound overwhelming at first, don’t worry too much! As you play the game, you’ll likely engage in all of these activities at some point in time. This is especially true with ones like finishing quests and clearing out night thorns.

However, while completing the main story is guaranteed to net you some memories, the other activities are not. While you’re likely to find them in time, you won’t get memories when you water a plant or feed a squirrel. Despite this, you’ll find other helpful items alongside the memories, making engaging in as many activities as possible worthwhile!

You’ll know you’ve found a memory piece when you see a glowing, yellow orb appear. Interact with it to collect the memory. From here, it’ll appear in your Collection log under Memories.
