How to Complete Hippogriff Marks the Spot Quest in Hogwarts Legacy
You’ll first encounter this quest when picking up a map in Poidsear Coast that shows a building, map location, and a Hippogriff drawing. The top half of this picture shows that you’ll have to travel to the spot marked on the map, which, once you arrive, is revealed to be Henrietta’s Hideaway in Manor Cape. You may recognize this area if you have already completed particular quests like Rescuing Rococo.

After you arrive at Henrietta’s Hideaway, clear out the enemies and enter the side entrance marked on the map. Within the first room, you’ll find two magic blocks and matching platforms, one with a fire symbol and the other with ice. Place the blocks on their matching platform and use Incendio and Glacius, respectively, to open the door and progress further. You won’t have to repeat this if you’ve been here previously.
In the next room, you’ll see numerous enemies and a massive Hippogriff statue. Eliminate all the enemies and light up the braziers using the map you found earlier. There are eight spots total, with some already on fire when you first enter. You can extinguish the other fires using Glacius and light more using Incendio.
Once you light up each brazier according to the picture, the wall will open and reveal a treasure chest. Open it up to get your reward and complete the Hippogriff Marks the Spot quest!
