How to Claim Your Free Yukong in Honkai: Star Rail

One of the biggest new features in the second update for Honkai: Star Rail is that another free character is obtained by simply progressing through the game. Yukong, the 4-star Imaginary Harmony character introduced in 1.1 is now available for free as long as players meet a few easy requirements. Here’s how to claim Yukong for free in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to Get a Free Yukong in Honkai: Star Rail

Yukong is available for players who complete the first stage in The Voyage of Navis Astriger section of the Forgotten Hall. This is a new 6-round challenge featuring enemies from the Xianzhou Luofu arc, similar to how the previous Memory featured enemies from Jarilo-VI.

While the first Memory stages offered a free Qingque as the main reward, this one offers Yukong, a powerful buffer that may be twice as valuable thanks to her Imaginary element, currently only available on two other characters, both of which are 5-stars. Yukong is, just like Qingque, permanently available in the game for free.

To unlock the Memory of Xianzhou stages in the Forgotten Hall, all you gotta do is complete the current Xianzhou Luofu Trailblaze Missions, ending in A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant.

Once you’re up to date with the main quests, head back to the Parlor Car and enter the Forgotten Hall. Select the icon on the top of the screen and complete the first challenge. Similar to the Memory stages in Jarilo-VI, you get some generous rewards for beating all Luofu stages with full stars, so you should definitely complete them when you have the chance.

Yukong’s kit is highly focused on buffing her allies, much like Tingyun and Asta. Her uniqueness comes from boosting their Critical Rate/Damage too, which is always welcome in pretty much every scenario. She’s great for dealing with those chunky bosses in the Memory of Chaos, so don’t sleep on her!
