BitLife – How to Become a Famous Astronaut
After becoming an astronaut in BitLife, you can conduct various space missions, deep-space research, and cosmic anomaly scans to increase your reputation and become famous. As you do these activities each year, especially going on missions, you’ll gain promotions, public peer-reviewed publications, and make discoveries on different planets. After a few years of doing this, you have a random chance of becoming famous!
Like other careers, it’s a matter of working hard, doing your job tasks, and making your supervisors happy. During my first playthrough as an astronaut, my character became famous after being promoted to General, and winning a Nobel Prize for submitting high-quality articles about sunspot clusters and alien music.
Becoming an Astronaut in BitLife
There are four things you need to become an astronaut in BitLife:
- The astronaut special career pack
- An undergraduate degree in any STEM program
- A pilot’s license
- Certification in your country’s Space Academy
Once you graduate from Space Academy, you can apply to become an astronaut, allowing you to go on space missions and work toward becoming famous!

Since you need an undergraduate degree and a pilot’s license, be prepared to spend a lot of money on both. Space Academy also has a separate tuition cost. However, it only lasts two years, and during these two years, your character will go through rigorous flight, fitness, and technical training to prepare you for life as an astronaut.
