All of the tasks you need to get done in this trial are fairly tricky, as they involve taking some big leaps and using gameplay features you likely don’t touch regularly. If you’re having trouble getting this one done, here’s how to complete the New Year, New You Challenge in BitLife.

To successfully complete the New Year, New You Challenge in BitLife, you must tackle five unique goals specific to this trial. All five missions you need to get done are as follows.

  • Change your name.
  • Go on 3+ different cruises.
  • Go on 10+ first class vacations.
  • Obtain every license.
  • Emigrate to another country.

For this specific challenge, you must get all five goals done within the same year. This makes the trial a lot tougher, as you’ll need a massive amount of funds to successfully tackle all goals. Because of this, I recommend focusing on saving up early on and waiting until later in life when you have a healthy amount of savings accumulated to actually get this challenge done.

Change Your Name in BitLife

Your first big task is to change your name. This feature is likely one you don’t use very often, but it’s not too tough to get done once you know where to look. To change your name, select the Activities tab in the bottom right corner, scroll down to Identity, and select the Name Change option.

Pick a new first and last name to proceed. Then, select the File a Request option at the bottom of the page and pay the 405$ fee to officially file for your new chosen name. If you don’t have enough money on hand right away, you’ll need to work on earning some cash first.

Go on Different Cruises in BitLife

Next up, you need to embark on a minimum of three unique cruises. Select the Activities tab, scroll all the way down to the Vacation section, and select the Cruise option. Look through the available cruise locations and select your desired cabin type.

Once you’ve settled on your desired combination, choose the Select Cruise option to see how much it costs and pay the fee. The price of each cruise varies depending on the destination you choose, what type of room you want, and who you travel with, so be ready to pay a hefty price somewhere in the thousands to actually embark on this journey.

Go on First Class Vacations in BitLife

In addition to taking some cruises, you also need to go on a minimum of 10 first-class vacations for this challenge. You can do so by choosing the Activities tab, selecting the Vacation section, and choosing the standard Vacation tab underneath it.

Choose any destination you like in the first section, but always make sure you select First Class under the Pick Your Class of Travel section. Repeat this process 10 times to check off this goal. Again, you’ll need a decent chunk of money here, depending on the location you choose and how many people you bring with you, so you’ll likely want to chip away at this goal over time as you also work and accumulate funds.

Obtain Every License in BitLife

Your next mission is to obtain every license, of which there are three. The licenses you must acquire to progress here are the Boating License, the Driving License, and the Pilot’s License. All three must be unlocked to check off this challenge objective.

Click the Activities tab and scroll down to the Licenses section. Then, work your way through collecting each unique license until you manage to claim all three. It’s generally easiest to start with your Driving License, as it only costs 100$ and requires you to tackle just one driving-related question to pass. Getting a Boating License is a bit tougher and more costly, as you’ll need to spend $405 and correctly answer one boating-related question.

The toughest license to get is your Pilot’s License, as you first need to accumulate at least 40 hours in Flight School. You can attend Flight School by selecting this option under the same Licenses page. It costs 335$ per hour, so you’ll need to spend at least 13,400$ on Flight School before you can take and pass the test to get your Pilot’s License.

Emigrate To Another Country in BitLife

Your last mission in the New Year, New You Challenge is to emigrate to another country. Select the Activities tab, scroll down to the Emigrate option, choose the country you wish to move to, and select the Request Approval option.

With all five goals now complete, you’re officially done with the New Year, New You Challenge. If you’re looking for more tasks to tackle, there are plenty to choose from, including trials like Humbug, Gimme GimmeMistress of the Dark, and Tortured Artist.
