Spooky season continues!

You already know what time it is. This weekend, we have another BitLife challenge to complete, and it’s just as wild as the rest. This time, we’re playing as a female who owns a haunted mansion and gets involved with the paranormal. With us entering a spooky season, it was only a matter of time until things became extra scary. BitLife: Mistress of the Dark Challenge Walkthrough

Below are the tasks you must complete for the Mistress of the Dark challenge in BitLife:

  • Be born a female
  • Own a haunted mansion in Massachusetts
  • Own a poodle named Algonquin
  • Survive a paranormal attack
  • Summon 2+ ghosts

Although you must own a haunted mansion in Massachusetts, you technically do not have to be born here. Your character can emigrate to the United States and, if she’s lucky, land in Massachusetts. However, if you want to guarantee living here, beginning your playthrough in this state will make things easier.

Owning a Haunted Mansion in Massachusetts

To begin the Mistress of the Dark challenge in BitLife, create a female character born in the United States. Pick Boston as your starting place, as that’ll make the second task easier to complete.

Once you create your character, age up until you turn 18 and start making money by whatever means necessary. How you do this is entirely up to you, but below are some suggestions:

  • Pursuing a high-paying career
  • Committing crimes to make money
  • Parent inheritances
  • Marry someone rich and get their assets after they pass away

After making some money, head into your character’s assets menu and shop for houses. Search the list until you find a haunted mansion and buy it for cash or apply for a mortgage. You may have to close and reopen the BitLife app a few times to spot the house.

Own a Poodle Named Algonquin

To buy a poodle named Algonquin, head into Activities, choose Pets, and visit the animal shelter, pet store, or dog breeder. Purchasing a pure-bred dog guarantees you’ll find a poodle, as it has every dog breed available immediately. However, if you get lucky, you may find one at the animal shelter or pet store for a much cheaper price.

Once you find a poodle in one of these three shops, buy it and name it Algonquin to knock out the third objective! You’re now ready to dive into the most dangerous part of the challenge.

Surviving Paranormal Attacks and Summoning Ghosts

Now that you own a haunted mansion, you can start communicating with ghosts and engaging in paranormal activities. You can find the list of ghosts in your mansion by selecting it in your properties menu and then tapping the Spirits menu.

In your spirits menu, you’ll find a list of ghosts in your home, with the number increasing the more haunted your house is. To complete the last two tasks:

  • Continue summoning your ghosts until they appear in front of you.
  • When they appear, stay calm; if they’re not friendly, they’ll attack you anyway, finishing the fourth task.

Repeat this until you summon two different ghosts to complete the Mistress of the Dark Challenge in BitLife!
