There is plenty of discussion in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate community right now surrounding the number of characters from the Fire Emblem franchise that are currently on the roster for the high-profile Nintendo title. This discussion was kickstarted when Nintendo announced on Thursday, January 16th, that the fifth DLC fighter would be Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. However, some members of the community were not pleased with this reveal due to the fact they feel there are too many characters from the franchise on the fighting game’s roster.
You then have others who were happy to see the main character from the fan-favorite title of Three Houses become a playable character. There are a total of eight characters from the franchise currently on the roster for the latest entry in Nintendo’s popular fighting game series.
