The moveset for Byleth focuses on four weapons that coincide with a specific attack direction. This design means that players will have a treasure trove of potential attacks from the moveset of Byleth they can dish out in any situation they may find themselves in during a fight. - Up Smash Attack – Launch Enemies Using the Whip Sword
- Up Air Attack – Strike Opponents Repeatedly with Whip Sword
- Up Special – Capture and Reel in Opponents Using the Whip Sword

- Forward/Back Air Attack – Has a Long Reach
- Side Smash Attack – Has a Long Reach and Can Be Angled Up or Down, Stronger When You Press Up
- Side Special – An Upward Swing with Extreme Reach

- Down Air Attack – A Downward Swing of the Axe
- Down Smash Attack – A Heavy Swing of the Axe Left and Right
- Down Special – Channels All Energy into a Single Strike, Has Super Armor at Start of Move, Do Not Use Against Fighters With a Counter

- Neutral Air Attack – Spin the Bow
- Neutral Special – Fire the Bow, Arrows Can’t Be Release Before Charge is Complete, Hold Down B Button to Shoot Arrow like a Beam of Light
