Super Smash Bros. Ultimate officially has a new character coming soon with Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Byleth, but Nintendo wasn’t done showing off what else is new. In addition to 11 total challenge packs, the team also revealed new costumes coming to the fighting game on January 28th.
Regarding the mysterious new challenger packs, a new pass will also be provided. According to Nintendo, “By purchasing Fighters Pass Vol. 2 for a suggested retail price of $29.99, players will get access to six more yet-to-be-announced Challenger Packs as they release. Each pack includes one new fighter, one stage and multiple music tracks. Those who purchase Fighters Pass Vol. 2 will also receive an exclusive costume for Mii Swordfighter, the Ancient Soldier Gear from the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, available in-game starting Jan. 28.”
The new costumes for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be available on January 28th for $0.75 each. Pre-ordering the new challenger pass will also unlock a special costume as well.
