If you’re wanting to finish the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, it’s crucial that you get your act together when you’re trying to take down the various bosses that kick around Midgar. An example of one of those Final Fantasy 7 Remake bosses is Arsenal. Let’s tell you how to take down this Shinra weapon.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Arsenal Boss Guide
If you’re wanting to take down the bosses in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, then you’re definitely going to want to be prepared. We suggest using Summons and the like if you’re struggling, and we have a whole guide on that if you’re trying to get abreast of the list that you can get your hands on – we’ve relinked it right here for your pleasure.
Now, to take down some of the big boys. We’re talking about the Arsenal boss this time, and you’re going to face them a fair way through the game after you’ve got to face off against Rufus Shinra. The Arsenal is, like pretty much every Shinra big boss, a mechanical horror of epic proportions. You’re going to have no choice but to defeat The Arsenal to progress, so this definitely isn’t like one of Chadley’s VR monsters that you don’t technically have to face off against if you really don’t want to.
The Arsenal is unique because you’ll have a split party for the purposes of this fight. Essentially, you have Aerith and Barret to rely on here, so if you weren’t already proficient at using their skills and abilities then you’re going to have to learn on the fly. Here are some of our tips when it comes to taking down the Arsenal boss. If you remember the basic principles that you applied to the Airbuster very early on in the game, then this shouldn’t be too bad as long as you know how to use cover and have a lot of patience.
- Make sure that you’re not just facetanking the Arsenal – aim for its weak spots
- Hit the Main Cannon and Laser Cannon
- Make sure to stay on your toes when it starts to zoom around – enemies tend to focus player controlled characters so use this to get a breather when running around
- Watch out for Pulse Cannon – the Arsenal will be staggered after, so hit him hard during this phase
- Watch out for Firewall – it will create walls of fire that your characters have to step around
- Saturation Fire, Primary Fire, and Secondary Fire are moves that you can avoid by staying behind the pillars that litter the arena where you fight the Arsenal
Now that you have our tips on how to fight the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Arsenal boss, it should be a fair bit easier for you to crack through this rather crucial part of the game and to reunite your two characters with the rest of the Avalanche team.
