Differences Between Resident Evil 4 Remake Deluxe and Collector’s

First up, the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 4 Remake is available on all platforms as it comes as a digital download. It is basically the base game with the extra codes for claiming the following digital/in-game bonuses:

  • 2 new costumes for Ashley (Casual and Romantic)
  • 2 new exclusive filters for the game (Hero and Villain)
  • 4 new costumes for Leon (Casual, Romantic, Hero, and Villain)
  • Ability to swap the soundtrack in the game to 2005 original
  • Deluxe weapons (Sentinel Nine gun and Skull Shaker shotgun)
  • Sporty Sunglasses accessory
  • Treasure Map: Expansion – for unlocking additional treasures that cannot be found otherwise

On the other hand, the physical-only Collector’s Edition of Resident Evil 4 Remakes includes all of the above, and some nice physical bonuses as well – all packed into a big Resident Evil-themed box!

  • A big figure of Leon S. Kennedy
  • A poster
  • Artbook with Resident Evil 4 Remake art
  • Digital Soundtrack
  • Extra DLC Pack Product Code
  • The game with a SteelBook

And while the Digital Deluxe edition is reasonably priced at $69.99, the physical Collector’s Edition will demand $249.99 from the most die-hard Resident Evil fans – a price that is probably due to the very expensive and high-quality figure that is included. Anyway, the Collector’s Editions are more or less already sold out everywhere so you can expect an even higher price from resellers. Video games – not a cheap hobby!

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 (with free upgrade), Xbox One, and Series X/S and PC on March 24, 2023.
