Is the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector's Edition Worth It

Yes, it’s finally happening – the Resident Evil 4 Remake is coming! At last night’s Resident Evil Showcase presentation, we saw the first announcement and gameplay trailer for the remake of the most popular Resident Evil sequel of all time. In addition to the trailer and the release date, we also found out what the physical Collector Edition of the game will contain and its hefty price – but is the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition worth It?

Is the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition Worth It?

The answer is – hell yeah it is! If you are a Resident Evil 4 fan that is – you really shouldn’t think twice. The physical release of the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition contains:

  • The game with a SteelBook
  • Extra DLC Pack Product Code
  • Digital Soundtrack
  • A big figure of Leon S. Kennedy
  • Arbook with Resident Evil 4 Remake art
  • A poster
  • …and a big box with many Resident Evil 4 Remake details on it

Not convinced yet? The mentioned Extra DLC Pack that comes with the collector’s edition is the same one from the Digital Deluxe version of the game and it contains:

  • 4 new costumes for Leon (Casual, Romantic, Hero, and Villain)
  • 2 new costumes for Ashley (Casual and Romantic)
  • 2 new exclusive filters for the game (Hero and Villain)
  • Deluxe weapons (Sentinel Nine gun and Skull Shaker shotgun)
  • Treasure Map: Expansion – for unlocking additional treasures that cannot be found otherwise
  • Sporty Sunglasses accessory
  • Ability to swap the soundtrack in the game to 2005 original!

And that’s everything that comes with the Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition. There is no doubt that this edition brings a lot of great bonuses, however, if the price of $249.99 is too much for you, consider the Deluxe Edition which will be sold for only $69.99.

Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 (with free upgrade), Xbox One, and Series X/S and PC on March 24, 2023.
