Can You Inspect your Weapon in COD Modern Warfare 2? – Answered

Mom would be so proud!

Inspecting weapons is a pivotal aspect of online multiplayer first-person shooters these days, and you’d be hard-pressed to see it missing from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Allowing you to take a closer look at that sick camo you just unlocked is one thing, but the real importance lies in making other people look at that sick camo you just unlocked. How else are you expected to flex on the lobby during your kill montages, a 360-no-scope while jumping off a building? Come on, it’s not 2008 anymore. Here’s how you can inspect your weapon in COD Modern Warfare 2.

Can You Inspect Your Weapon In COD Modern Warfare 2?

Yes, of course you can. Now, grab yourself that gold camo skin and use one of the following buttons to inspect your weapons in Modern Warfare 2:

  • Hold the Left Arrow on the d-pad (For Xbox/PlayStation controllers)
  • Press the “I” key on your keyboard (For keyboard/mouse players)

Keep in mind that you’ll be utterly defenseless while inspecting your weapon, so you’d better time it appropriately. Speaking of weapons, Modern Warfare 2 has quite a lot of them. Check out Every Weapon in Modern Warfare 2 Listed for more details on that.

Multiplayer for Modern Warfare 2 was finally released on October 28 with a variety of game modes to choose from. The usual 6v6 Core Modes: Free-For-All, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Headquarters, Control, Prisoner Rescue, Knock Out, and Search & Destroy are all available upon launch. For larger-scale battles, the 32v32 Ground War and Invasion modes are also live.

Unfortunately, it looks like DMZ and Hardcore (Now called Tier 1) won’t be available until the launch of Season 01 when Warzone 2.0 releases.
