The answer is yes! Fennekin can be Shiny in Pokemon GO!
But finding a silver fire fox is exceedingly difficult. Your average rates are 1 in 500, and Fennekin is already a rare spawn. It’s possible to find Fennekin from hatched 5km eggs, or by checking out fire-heavy biomes like residential areas, cities, beaches, and areas with dry or arid climates. Your odds aren’t great, but that’s the charm and challenge of Pokemon GO.
Fortunately, if you’re reading this article before May 21, 2023, there is an easier way.
On May 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Fennekin will be in the Community Day Spotlight! That means Fennekin will appear more frequently in the wild (giving you a higher chance of finding a Shiny one). And if you evolve a Fennekin all the way into its Delphox, it will learn the Charged Attack Blast Burn.
Alternatively, if you already have a Delphox, you can teach it the Charged Attack Mystical Fire instead.
