With the arrival of the new Borderlands 3 DLC, there’s been a whole host of Legendaries that were added to the game. Yes, we’re talking gun upon gun upon gun. So, you’ve got a royal urge to pick up the Borderlands 3 Shocker Legendary. We get it. Self-isolation has been tough for everyone recently even with Legendaries like the Conference Call, whom you’d think would really provide the premier WHF experience (more on how to get that weapon here). No matter, you want something that will give you a bit of pep in your step. Here, this shotgun might well be what you’re looking for.
This Torgue shotgun is special in the sense that it always spawns as Shock when it comes to element. Yes, that probably wasn’t a huge surprise given the name of the weapon, but you know, no one’s perfect. The Special Weapon Effect that’s unique to the Shocker is called “Everything has to be magical. Surprise!” – this makes the weapon itself fire 3 elemental orbs that split out from one main one, which we reckon is pretty cool. The Shocker has come our way via the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC that everyone has been frothing over recently, and the AOE hit of damage that it provides is tight in close quarters.
If you’re wanting to pick up the Shocker now that you think it’s intrigued you, then we have some good news. The weapon drops from a boss called Voltborn in the new DLC area of Negul Neshai, which means that there’s no need to kick down the door of every public toilet in Pandora to figure out how to fish this bad boy out of mucky waters and into your hands. The difficulty doesn’t really matter when it comes to picking up this weapon, so you can have it on as easy or as hard as you like, though your chances of picking up an Anointed Shocker will obviously be higher if you’re toughing it out.
