Best UGM-8 Loadout in Warzone Season 5

Stability is still king in Warzone Season 5.

Like clockwork, the UGM-8 has taken over the Warzone Season 5 meta after so many options were nerfed in the latest weapon patch. Creating the best loadout possible for the Call of Duty: Vanguard light machine gun will give you an upper hand in the battle royale.

Weapons with high control have always dominated the meta, and now that the KG M40 has been taken down, there was room for a new king. That crown goes directly to the UGM-8 which fires like a laser beam at a distance and our guide is going to show you how to build the best loadout.

Warzone Season 5 – Best UGM-8 Loadout

Long-range superiority is the main goal of this light machine gun. There are options for fully automatic or burst variants of the loadout, and either can work as long as you build the weapon like a KG M40 replacement. Full auto will be the aim of this UGM-8 loadout in particular and you can find all the attachments below.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: Bernard XL214 736mm
  • Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
  • Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
  • Stock: Romauld TAC YR
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Perk 1: Surveil
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

Vanguard weapons have access to a few different muzzle attachments that are considered strong, but the MX Silencer is the clear winner here. Our goal is to increase accuracy, range, and control without hurting the overall build. Mobility will suffer just a bit but the sound suppression and long-range support are worth the trade-off.

Next, you’ll need the Bernard XL214 736mm barrel for the UGM-8 loadout. Mobility will take another hit, but damage won’t suffer, which is important. The loss in mobility will give us more recoil control, flinch resistance, a higher fire rate, and reduced sway. All of those stats are a recipe for a weapon that can beam players at any distance with no issues.

To double down on the long-range build, we want supporting attachments that aid in stability and strafe potential. For that, you’ll need the M1930 Strife Angled, the Hatched Grip, and the Romauld TAC YR. The Romauld is the true star of the show with a massive bump in aim walking steadiness and aim walking movement speed. Aiming down sights and firing off shots will feel as easy as ever in Warzone Season 5.

Finally, we need some good ammunition for the UGM-8. Of course, Lengthened ammo is a must-have for the bullet velocity that it provides. But for the magazine itself, the 6.5mm Sakura 125 Round Box is the best. Not only are you getting some massive ammo capacity, but there is an insane boost to recoil control and fire rate as well. Along with every other attachment on the list, the UGM-8 is going to rip through 125 rounds as nothing and the scope will barely move the entire time.
