The base game Vanguard weapons are at the top.

With weapons like the AS44 and the Armaguerra nerfed, the PPSh-41 has room to dominate in close quarters. The only other SMG that can keep up, for the time being, is the MP-40. Until Season 5 Reloaded arrives in Warzone, both of those options will be the most common appearances in close-range classes. This guide will outline exactly how to build the best PPSh-41 loadout in the Warzone.

Warzone Season 5 – Best Vanguard PPSh-41 Loadout

There are a few different ways to build the PPSh-41 depending on how you want to play. However, the close-range build is typically the best and it’s what we’re going to focus on for this loadout. Below you’ll find all of the attachments you need for a successful build in Warzone Season 5.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Kovalevskaya 230mm B03P
  • Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Stock: Kovalevskaya Skeletal
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Magazine: 8mm Nambu 71 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Perk 1: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: Quick

First up on the list of attachments is a Recoil Booster muzzle. Close-range builds for submachine guns always make use of the boosters for the increase in fire rate they provide. Recoil control will be tougher to manage, but that won’t matter when you’re using small gaps to your advantage.

Next, you’ll need a barrel and the best option for this Vanguard PPSh-41 build is the Kovalevskaya 230mm B03P. There is a ton of hip fire accuracy and recovery that comes from the barrel, along with recoil recovery in general. To make the barrel even better, the base fire rate will increase even further, making the DPS even stronger. Attachments that follow the barrel will all be based on mobility.

The Taped Grip, Kovalevskaya Skeletal stock, and the Mark VI Skeletal underbarrel will all work to make the PPSh-41 lightning fast. You don’t want want to waste any of your loadout space on range or control which is why so many slots are dedicated to mobility. At the very least, the stock will help a ton with the horizontal recoil problems.

Our last integral attachments are based around the ammo for the PPSh-41 in Warzone Season 5. Lengthened is used in this loadout for the bullet velocity that it provides, but Subsonic works as well. However, the 8mm Nambu 71 Round Mags are a must for the build. These rounds will provide a ton of control, more fire rate, and even more mobility. Everything else in the class is standard across the submachine gun class.
