Some form of the P90 has appeared in nearly every entry of the Modern Warfare series, and it’s back in the latest addition. The PDSW 528 is the Modern Warfare 2 version of the P90, and though it isn’t the best submachine gun, it has some great features that others don’t offer.
Without any attachments, the PDSW 528 has some fantastic base recoil control and a 50-round mag that ensures it’s much easier to wipe out half the team. But it struggles in other areas like range and optics. This guide will go over exactly how to build the best loadout so you can run and gun in MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 – Best PDSW 528 Loadout
To get the most out of this P90 setup, the focus should be on extending the range and ensuring that the weapon is as snappy as possible. Before you know it, your ADS speed will be the fastest on the field and your gun will melt other players. Below you can find all the attachments you need.
- Receiver: PDSW 528
- Barrel: 9.5″ Duke-30
- Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
- Stock: CQB Stock
- Rail: Integrated Reflex Rail
- Laser: STOVL Tac Laser
Because most of the attachments are based on speed, we should get the damage range out of the way first. To increase the range and help with recoil, the XTEN RR-40 muzzle is a fantastic option. On top of those stats, the gun will get increased bullet velocity and sound suppression.

The next major focus for this weapon is the ADS and sprint to fire speed. Our two major attachments to boost these stats are the CQB Stock and the 9.5″ Duke-30 barrel. Most weapons use a damage range enhancement, but the PDSW 528 is a separate beast.
Two additional attachments are the Integrated Reflex Rail and the STOVL Tac Laser. Both can be swapped based on preference but they are fantastic for close quarters.
