In Season 1 of Warzone 2, the Kastov 762 is starting to rise to the top of the meta as one of the most effective assault rifles available. Though players were skeptical about the classic weapon at first, the mix of damage and a controllable fire rate has made the rifle a fantastic long-range primary.
Now that Warzone 2 has such a quick TTK, many of the weapons in the Kastovia branch will remain popular in long-range loadouts. You can’t go wrong with the 762 or the RPK in this case, and with the right attachments, they are nearly unstoppable. We’ll go over everything you need for this AK build for use in Al Mazrah.
Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best Kastov 762 Loadout
Our main goal for the 762 is to boost the damage range and manage the recoil of the high-damage rounds. The slower fire rate can account for some of the recoil, but the gun will still bounce without help. Below you can find all the attachments you need for the best loadout.
- Receiver: Kastov 762
- Barrel: Kas-10 584mm Barrel
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Magazine: 40 Round Mag
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
We always focus on the barrel attachments first, and on this build, the focus is entirely on longer ranges. Both the Kas-10 584mm Barrel and the Polarfire-S muzzle will boost the most important stats on the 762. You can expect more bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control.

After the barrel, we need one more major piece for control of the Kastov 762 in Warzone 2. For this, the best option is the VX Pineapple which has become a staple underbarrel option for nearly every assault rifle in the battle royale mode. Recoil control will be entirely under control with this last piece.
The last two attachments are supportive and straightforward. For more ammo capacity, the 40 Round Mag is important so we can stay in the fight longer. Then we add the Schlager 3.4x as an optic over the VLK 4.0 due to the visual feedback and the zoom However, you can use whichever one you prefer.
