Best Assault Rifle Loadout for COD DMZ

Make the most of your insurance.

Anyone who is running deployments in the Call of Duty: DMZ mode needs to make the most of their Insured Weapon slot, especially if they only have one at their disposal. This Insured slot is the DMZ version of a custom loadout, and when so many different combat situations can pop up, an assault rifle loadout is usually the best option.

In general, assault rifles are the most popular weapon options for any mode in Call of Duty due to the versatility that they offer. Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 brings us a brand new meta AR to use ourselves, and we’re going to cover how to build it in our DMZ loadout guide.

COD DMZ – Best Assault Rifle Loadout

The AR we’re going to use as a base for this build is the ISO Hemlock, which acts much like the ACR from the original Modern Warfare 2. This weapon is so strong that it was already banned from Ranked Play and is also the meta option for range in Warzone 2. You can find all the attachments you need below.

ISO Hemlock DMZ Loadout:

  • Barrel: Fielder-T50
  • Muzzle: Harbinger D20
  • Underbarrel: Edge-47
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag
  • Optic: Aim OP-V4

Three of the attachments on this loadout are based around range extension and control of the weapon. The Fielder-T50 barrel and the Harbinger D20 muzzle will both help with range, bullet velocity, and recoil control to an extent. Then the Edge-47 underbarrel will help with the kick and accuracy.

Out other two attachments for the DMZ assault rifle loadout are supporting pieces. We use the 45 Round Mag for extra capacity, and with so many enemies to dispatch in the zones, extra ammo is a must. The optic is a personal preference, but the Aim OP-V4 tends to be the most reliable.
