Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Gym Leaders Guide So Far

As expected, the new installment in the Pokemon franchise will see the return of Gyms, but there’s a twist. This time around, Trainers will face against the eight Gym Leaders in any order that they choose – there’s no set, linear path to follow in your quest to become Pokemon Master.

Gyms are only one of three different paths in the Treasure Hunt Adventure, but for now, we don’t have any information on what the other two will contain.

Grusha

Grusha leads the Glaseado Gym and he uses Ice-type Pokemon, including Cetitan – a new Pokemon introduced in Scarlet and Violet – against you in battle.

Brassius

Brassius is the grass gym leader found in Artazon. He is known as the Verdant Virtuoso, has a thorn whip at his side, and uses the Pokemon Sudowoodo.

Iono

Iono is the gym leader of the city of Levincia. She specializes in electric Pokemon and her partner pokemon Bellibolt. This big round green frog is adorable and perfectly fits the vibes of Iono. When Iono isn’t participating in gym battles, she’s streaming and being an influencer all over Paldea. She rocks two giant Magnemit hairpins and has pink and blue hair.

At this time, no further information is available on Gyms and Gym Leaders in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. As the games release on November 18, 2022, it’s highly likely that The Pokemon Company will drop more information before then, so keep your eyes peeled.
